To support the plastics industry, we have developed TIOXIDE® TR48 pigment – an alumina surface treated, hydrophobic titanium dioxide grade.
High temperature performance
Engineered to process well at high temperatures, TIOXIDE® TR48 pigment provides fast dispersion in a range of plastics and has excellent coloristic and tint reduction capabilities. With a fine crystal and particle size that delivers a blue undertone and high opacity, TIOXIDE® TR48 pigment has been developed with low volatile organic compound (VOC) formulations in mind.
Typical applications for TIOXIDE® TR48 pigment include premium and general packaging systems, and the production of plastic parts for consumer electronic devices and the automotive industry.
