Venator to attend Battery 2017

3 – 6 October 2017, Nice Acropolis, France

Wynyard, UK – Battery experts from Venator will be presenting current work on lithium titanate developments at Battery 2017 - The International Energy & Power Supply Conference and Exhibition at the Nice Acropolis, France in October. At the event, Venator will share information about latest developments in their battery material portfolio, particularly HOMBITEC® LTO5 and precursors for lithium titanate production.

Venator’s HOMBITEC® LTO5, is a nanostructured, high purity lithium titanate that is used as anode material in lithium ion batteries. Compared to state of the art graphite-based anodes, it allows rapid charge and discharge of the battery. HOMBITEC® LTO5 helps producers make batteries with wide operating temperature range, extended life times and improved battery safety, hence making it suitable for stationary energy storage as well as specialized niche applications.

Venator has been active in the supply of inorganic material for the battery industry for many years, supplying the sector with specialty titanium dioxide, iron oxide precursors for lithium ion batteries and lithium titanate.
