Pigment specialist shortlisted in four award categories
Wynyard, UK – 20 June 2025 – Venator, a leading global supplier of specialty chemicals
and ingredients, was honored to be a finalist at the 2025 Chemical
Industries Association (CIA) Awards, held last night in Leeds, UK. Venator
was shortlisted in four award categories, including innovation,
sustainability, unsung hero and company of the year.
While Venator didn’t take home a win on the night, Venator’s shortlisting
recognition underscores the company’s leadership and commitment to advancing
excellence within the UK chemical sector through cutting-edge practices and
responsible operations.

product carbon footprint tool, TMP-free innovation, and broader
environmental initiatives.

Nick Sturgeon Unsung Hero Award, celebrating Derrick Green, Logistics Operations Team Leader, for his
outstanding commitment to EHS and operational excellence.

Company of the Year, for demonstrating proven excellence across multiple domains and its
ongoing commitment to sustainable business growth in the UK.
The CIA Awards celebrate companies that demonstrate exceptional performance in
areas such as sustainability, health and safety, innovation, workforce
