Stand 1677, Javits Convention Center, New York City, 15-16 May 2018
Wynyard, UK – The New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) Suppliers’ Day in New York City is the destination for Venator’s cosmetics experts in May. At NYSCC, Venator will be promoting the wide range of high purity pigments, UV-filters and additives it makes for the personal care and beauty industry - including its latest specialty titanium dioxide innovation, HOMBITAN® AFDC 101.
HOMBITAN® AFDC 101 pigment is a pure, uncoated, anatase titanium dioxide grade that is made using a special process technology. This innovative manufacturing technique enables Venator to produce a pigment with crystal size distributions optimized to reflect selected wavelengths of light. The result is a product that combines the softness of an anatase titanium dioxide pigment with enhanced opacity properties, which can be used on its own or in combination with color pigments.
Venator - previously Huntsman Pigments and Additives – has one of the broadest portfolios of pigments and additives available to cosmetics and skin care formulators. Using its expertise, Venator has created a range of specialty titanium dioxide pigments that can help provide a flawless finish in foundations, concealers, correcting creams and countless other cosmetic products. Venator has a wealth of experience in the development of UV-filter products for anti-aging skin care treatments, baby care and sunscreen formulations. Venator also provides the pigment power behind countless color cosmetics – making color pigments that can deliver dramatic, long-lasting results in mascaras, eyeshadows, lipsticks, blushers and many other make up products.
Reiner Mertscheit, Global Business Director at Venator, said: “This is our first NYSCC Suppliers’ Day since we became Venator, and we’re looking forward to a busy show. Although we have a new name, NYSCC attendees will recognize our cosmetics experts and our well-known pigments and additives brands – including HOMBITAN® AFDC 101, which has proved popular with cosmetics formulators since its launch.”
